Ann DeLacy Obituary, Death Cause – HCCA Board Member Ann DeLacy I am writing to inform you, on behalf of the HCCA Board of Directors and Staff, that HCCA Board Member Ann DeLacy passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Ann served on the HCCA Board of Directors. Ann served on the HCCA Board of Directors for a significant amount of time. I very regret that I have to be the one to deliver this news to you, but unfortunately, things are the way they are. Ann was going to be serving on the Board of Directors for the HCCA for the second time during the next term of the organization.

When I started working for the village nine years ago as the manager, it was the first time I had experienced anything remotely like to this. She was scheduled to start her second term on the Board of Trustees for the Village of Harper’s Choice on May 2nd, which would be her second time serving the community. Because she has a great connection to this community, it was essential for her to maintain her role as a volunteer here. She is grateful for the opportunity to do so. Early on the morning of May 2, I went to Kahler Hall to talk with Ann about the details of the board meeting that was going to take place later that same day.

The meeting was planned to take place in the afternoon. I am very thankful that I was able to spend some time with her on that day because she was her normal bubbly and funny self, and I had a great time hanging out with her. I am thankful that I was able to spend some time with her on that day. I am happy that I was able to accomplish this goal. I would want to take this time to thank you, Ann, for all of the assistance that you have contributed to our Village, The Town of Columbia, and Howard County. I hope that you will accept my gratitude. You are in no danger of being Steve Ingley Village Manager.
