Barry Church Obituary, Death Cause – On May 9, Barry Church, the guy who started Bridge Mills Service Centre and was a former owner of the business, passed away while he was surrounded by members of his family at the time of his passing. The tragic news of his passing has caused all of us to feel an overwhelming sense of loss. Barry fought bravely while suffering from a sickness that lasted for a long time.

The memorial service will be held on May 26; any donations that are made during that time will be gratefully accepted. Barry, May You Rest in Peace, A Gentleman Who Is Honest and Authentic. May You Never Be Forgotten.

Barry and his brother Peter had owned the business from 1976 until 2021, and Barry continued to work in the business until he and his wife Doreen, who had been the company secretary, retired in 2022. The business had been in the Barry and Peter’s family from 1976 until 2021. Today, Peter and Barry’s son Paul continues to work for the company, which contributes to the strong family connection that is still present at the business.

The new Phoenix crew, some of whose members having previously held positions at Stoneridge, had the privilege of working with Barry and getting to know him over the course of almost 20 years.
