Bob Melville Obituary, Death Cause – Bob Melville has died. We extend our sincerest condolence. The “King of Roses,” the most beautiful private garden in Washington. Bob Melville leaves behind gorgeous property. The late horticulture Bob Melville, often known as WA’s King of Roses, is credited with leaving behind what is widely considered to be one of the premier private gardens in the state of Washington. Following the recent passing of the larger-than-life rosarian, more than 6 hectares of land located on Mottram Road in Carmel has been added to the registry.

Bob was a native of Upper Montclair and received his high school diploma from Montclair in the year 1961. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Upsala College after completing his studies at Bucknell University for a total of three years. Before moving to Long Island and beginning his employment at Equifax for a number of years, he was a high school history teacher in Northern New Jersey for a period of time. He left New York in 1996 and went to southern California in order to be closer to the ocean and get more sunlight.

Bob retired from Target Corporation after working there for over 20 years and then moved to Huntington Beach. Bob is survived by his daughter Christina Melville and his granddaughter Olivia, both of whom live in Seaford, New York. He is also survived by his brothers, Gordon Melville and family of Bedminster, New Jersey and Whinfield Melville, Jr. and family of Pittsford, New York.
