Casey Swisher Obituary, Death Cause – Casey Swisher went away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, inside of the house he shared with his family in Westerville. He could look back on 87 years of life. On December 8, 1935, Sam Swisher was born in the town of Cheshire, Ohio; unfortunately, neither of his parents, Amos and Lucille (Casey) Swisher, were living to see the birth of their son. Sam was named after his mother. Before Sam was born, unfortunately, neither of his parents were still alive.

He married Mary C. Bates on September 12, 1959, and the two of them remained married for 54 years till she passed away. Their wedding took place on September 12, 1959. When she passed away, he was there to comfort her. After he passes away, his children David Swisher and Daniel (Jim Jurek) Swisher, along with his daughter Nancy Swisher, will carry on his legacy. In addition to this, he is the proud grandfather of four great-grandchildren, four grandchildren, and has a sister named Mary Bally who lives in Powell.

Everyone in his family will be feeling a deep sense of loss without him. Sam is considered a veteran of the United States Marine Corps because he spent his whole time in the military working his way up through the ranks of that organization. It was common knowledge that he made frequent trips to the Blendon Senior Center in order to spend time with his friends there. While he was there, he participated in a wide range of activities, such as playing card games and chatting with others. There will be arrangements made for a memorial ceremony to be performed at a later date in celebration of the life of the person who has recently passed away.
