Cecil Parker Obituary, Death – The death of Cecil Parker has occurred. As we mourn the loss of Cecil Parker today, it is with great sadness that we ask for your prayers for our work family as well as his family. Thank you for your support. Brooks Atkin son of The New York Times regarded Mr. Parker’s portrayal in that comedy to be “superb” as a deaf and crotchety spouse. Brooks Atkin son was reviewing Mr. Parker’s performance. Reviewers of his other performances have described him as “engagingly fussy” as the headmaster in “The Browning Version” on television; “a bulldozer of meanness as the despicable Captain Boycott” in the film of the same name; “richly amusing” as a, “righteous fuddy-dud” in “Tony Draws a Horse;” and “delight fully foolish and mannered” in “Quartet.”
