Cesar Tlatelpa Obituary, Death Cause – On April 13, 2023, officers from the California Highway Patrol responded to a hit-and-run incident in Lamont that resulted in the death of a pedestrian. The crash was caused by a vehicle that had fled the scene after striking the person. The age of the victim, in years, was 43. The victim has been identified as Cesar Tlatelpa, who was 43 years old and lived in Bakersfield. This information was provided by officials from the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), Tlatelpa was apparently making his way from the westbound lanes of Weedpatch Highway into the northbound lanes when he was struck by a vehicle. After the collision, the pedestrian was located by the authorities in the region to the right of Blackburn Street on the Weedpatch Highway in the northbound direction. He sustained life-threatening wounds as a consequence of repeated blows to the head, which ultimately led to his passing. He was killed as a result of these injuries.
The driver, who was ultimately responsible for the victim’s passing, fled the site of the collision after realizing his actions had caused it. On Weedpatch Highway, Senatra, or Altima, according to the testimony of a number of eyewitnesses, the driver was last seen heading in a northern direction.
