Martin Elementary School in South Dade County and Vineland Elementary School both provided D’Sean with the opportunity to explore an alluring and fresh new world that both tested and inspired him to make full use of the many God-given abilities he possessed. The fact that he had a natural curiosity for learning was something that his parents and teachers recognized in him at a young age and worked to foster in him.

D’Sean acknowledged and embraced the significance of education throughout his middle school and high school years at Gulliver Prep – Upper School in Pinecrest, Florida. He did this because he understood the importance of education and how it would effect the path that his life would take in the future. The game of football was one that he played with a lot of fervor and abandon while he was at Gulliver Prep.

The game that he had the most fun playing was one that he had learned in a Pop Warner style. D’Sean received an education in the importance of academic achievement and good sportsmanship through his participation in the football programs offered by the Richmond Perrine Giants and the Suniland Sundevils. His innumerable instructors took an interest in his innate abilities and his willingness to put the team before individual accolades, and they instructed him to no end.
