Douglas Johnson Obituary, Death Cause – On Wednesday, the authorities in Geneva, Switzerland, made public the name of a man who had been killed the previous week after he was hit by a train and later succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred on the same day that the name was released. According to a press statement published by the Kane County Coroner’s Office, Douglas Johnson, 49, from Yorkville, Illinois, sadly passed away as a consequence of the multiple injuries he sustained. This information was provided by the Kane County Coroner’s Office.

The Geneva Police Department and the Union Pacific Railroad are collaborating with the coroner’s office to help enable the continuing of the inquiry. Toxicological samples have been sent to a laboratory for testing, and the coroner’s office is working closely with both of these entities. On Saturday, the police claimed that Johnson passed away as a result of being struck by a train when he was on the tracks in the vicinity of the Third Street crossing. This occurred while Johnson was on the tracks.

It was determined that he had passed away at the scene. Two passengers who rode the Metra train with Johnson reported to the officers that they exited the train on the south side of the tracks, despite the fact that their vehicle was parked on the north side of the rails. This information was relayed to the officers by Johnson. While the lights were flashing above them, the three men made their way underneath the emergency guardrail arms in order to cross the rails. The arms of the emergency guardrail were brought down to their lowest position. The emergency response caused the freight train to come to a stop, which then blocked traffic at the intersection of Third Street and Western Avenue for more than two hours.
