Duane Malone Obituary, Death Cause – Duane Malone has died. On April 21st, we were given the sad news that Duane Malone had passed away, and this information has caused our hearts to be filled with sorrow. During that period of time, he lived with us and contributed to the upkeep of our home. Everyone will grieve his passing in their own unique ways. At 1561 Dogwood Road in Sulphur, Louisiana 70665, we will be holding a public celebration of life on the following Saturday, May 6th, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Duane Malone was welcomed into the world by his parents, Marion and Loretha (Yancey) Malone, on May 1st, 1957 in the city of Chickasha, Oklahoma. During his formative years, he attended Chickasha, Verden, and Pioneer schools respectively for his formal education. After completing his high school education, Duane enthusiastically served his country for a period of four years as a member of the United States Navy. He was committed to his family and especially cherished his grandchildren throughout his life, but he also had a strong interest in teaching and was an exceptional guitarist.

Surviving family members include the victim’s mother, Loretha Malone, who resides in Marlow; her two sons, Brandon Malone and Courtney Jackson; her daughter Amanda Grubb; her granddaughter Natalee Grubb; and her grandson Dean Grubb; in addition, the victim’s sister, Alicia Malone, is still alive.We ask that you remember Duane’s family in your thoughts and prayers while we go through this difficult time, and that you continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers even after this request has been made.
