Recent events led to the passing of Efrosine Papagelis, who was beloved by her kin in the roles of wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunty. Efrosine left this world on April 29, 2023, a Saturday, and it was a sad day.

The viewing will be place at The Resurrection of Christ, our Lady of the Myrtles, and St. Elesa Greek Orthodox Church on Monday, May 8th, 2023 at 6:00 o’clock in the evening. The funeral service will be held at The Resurrection of Christ, our Lady of the Myrtles & St. Elesa Greek Orthodox Church on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 10:30 in the morning. The church is located at 16-20 Belgrave Street. Immediately after the conclusion of the service, the committal will take place in Rookwood General Cemetery, which can be found at 1 Hawthorne Avenue in Rookwood.

The Strathfield Golf Club, which can be found at 52 Weeroona Road in Strathfield, is going to be the location of the funeral service. In place of the more usual floral arrangements, the church will be collecting donations for the Alzheimer’s Association of Australia. In this trying time, we would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to the Efrosine family for the kind words, expressions of sympathy, and condolences that we have received from them. In particular, we would like to thank them for their condolences regarding the loss of their loved one.
