As the Chairman of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment Council of Colonels, he performed a crucial role in managing the regiment and advancing its interests, which earned him the honor of being designated Honorary Colonel in 2014. His service earned him the title of Honorary Colonel in 2014.

During his time as a Minister in the Gibraltar government, he was in charge of a wide range of critically essential issues, including those pertaining to health and communications.
