Ethan Falkowitz Obituary, Long Time Tyler Hill camper Has Passed Away

Ethan Falkowitz Obituary, Death Cause – The heartbreaking news that our longtime Tyler Hill camper, Ethan Falkowitz, had passed on the previous night in a terrible car accident was delivered to us when we awakened this morning. A drunk driver whose vehicle was driving on the incorrect side of the road collided with the vehicle in which he and his friend, Drew Hassenbein, a camper at Timber Lake, were riding when the collision occurred. Everyone who has ever interacted with Ethan remembers him as a kid with a wonderful personality and a smile that could light up any place he walked into.

Everyone at Tyler Hill adored him because of his thoughtfulness and benevolence, and he was a camper there. Ethan brought a ray of sunshine to our tennis fields, our stage, and every other part of camp that he visited. He was an outstanding member of his family in every capacity, including son, brother, cousin, friend, and bunkmate. We would like to offer our sincerest condolences to the Hassenbein family and let them know that the entire Tyler Hill Camp community will be thinking of and praying for his entire family during this difficult time.

There are no words, there are no answers, and there are no explanations for why such a senseless tragedy should claim the life of this young man who had the brightest future ahead of him.
