According to information obtained by 9News, an off-duty paramedic was the first person to arrive at the scene of the accident after driving past it. “No words can describe the scene that we were faced (with),” the acting inspector for the NSW Ambulance Service said in a statement. It is always a challenging situation for first responders to go to a traffic accident when they know that children were engaged in it.The presence of multiple patients who have sustained significant injuries can produce an extremely difficult working environment for ambulance staff.

The girl, who is 15 years old and was airlifted to Westmead Children’s Hospital, is currently classified as being in serious condition. Two young boys, ages 10 and 5, are listed as being in stable condition. At approximately 7:15 p.m. on Friday, a collision between two automobiles traveling in the southbound direction occurred at Figtree. The driver of one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
