Gary Stephenson Obituary, Death Cause – Gary passed away on April 29, 2023, at the age of 47, after enduring an unanticipated illness for a period of time. He did so at the hospital, where he was surrounded by his family and friends. His wife Caroline Ridley and her children Hollie and Emma, as well as his daughter Ellie, his parents Jean and Bruce, his sisters Jayne and Helen, and his daughter Ellie himself will miss him terribly. His stepdaughters, Hollie and Emma, will be saddened by his passing as well. His stepdaughters Hollie and Emma will be profoundly affected by his absence as well.

At the South Shields Crematorium on the morning of Tuesday, May 16, at 11:15, there will be a memorial service held in Gary’s honor to pay tribute to his life. Following that, we are going to get together at The Little Haven, which is a bar and restaurant that overlooks South Shields beach and is one of his most frequented hangouts. All of Gash’s closest friends and family members are strongly urged to be present in order to share memories of him and raise a glass in his honor.

We urge that you refrain from sending flowers in accordance with the wishes of Gary’s family and instead give some thought to making a contribution to the intensive care unit (ICU) where he was treated with such compassion and professionalism. Rest in peace, Gary; you were such a great guy. I still can’t believe this was the last time I got to hear you make everyone laugh when I trimmed your hair. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with the rest of your family during this tough time.
