The 12th of June, 1943 finds Mrs. Lollar entering the world in Oxford, Mississippi. Her parents, Harvey William Reed and Beulah Fay Harmon Reed, Sr., both passed away at some point in the past. She started her education at S. D. Lee High School and then transferred to Mississippi University for Women when she was ready to continue her education after completing high school. Mrs. Lollar began her professional life working as an operator for Bellsouth, and then went on to spend the subsequent 19 years of her career working for Pepsi. After that, she worked for a short period of time as a dispatcher for 911, and then she moved on to a job in human resources at Johnston Tombigbee, where she was employed for the following 23 years. Mrs. Lollar was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church in their town and attended services there regularly.

Her brother Harvey William Reed Jr. had preceded her in death, therefore she was the third member of her family to join her parents and brother in the afterlife. Those who have survived her death include her granddaughters Blaine Garrard (Michelle Schantz) and Paxton Garrard, as well as her daughters Gina Double (Christophe) of Soisy Bouy, France, and Jennifer Garrard of Columbus, Mississippi; she also leaves behind her daughters. In place of sending flowers, donations can be given to the Lowndes County Humane Society at P.O. The city of Columbus is home to both of these organizations.
