Glenn King Obituary, A Member Of Goodwill San Antonio Has Passed Away

Glenn King Obituary, Death Cause – Glenn King has died. We send our sympathies. A notice was issued on the organization’s website that read, “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Glenn King, Goodwill San Antonio’s longest-serving team member.” The other members of the team respectfully address to him as “Mr. King.” Mr. King just marked his half-century anniversary with our company during a celebration held recently.

Mr. King was pleased to report that Goodwill was both his first and only place of employment. He clutched the very first paycheck he had ever received from Goodwill in 1973 in his pocket with great pride. At Goodwill San Antonio, we shall miss Mr. King very much because he exemplified our organization’s values and he truly lived out our goal. At the end of his courageous year-long fight against cancer, Glenn died away at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in a calm and pain-free state.

He put up his best effort in this conflict by using all of his resources. During the most difficult year of his life, his family and friends showered him with love and support that was unconditional. He will be eternally thankful to them. We cannot express how much we value and appreciate each of your letters, calls, texts, cards, and thoughts. Someone’s true potential can be discovered and developed at one of the best places to work in the world: Goodwill. I am grateful to you, Mr. King, for the dedication you have shown to our cause. Glenn will be remembered for his deep affection for his family as well as his extensive network of acquaintances. He possessed a laugh that could make you cry and a grin that was worth a million dollars. He loved going snowmobiling and riding his Harley, and he was also quite interested in following Alex in any sport he participated in.
