Greg Solvang Obituary, Death Cause – In spite of the fact that he had been afflicted with the disease for a considerable amount of time, Greg Solvang fought heroically against an aggressive form of pancreatic cancer till the day he passed away on April 25, 2023. He was 69 years old. I am sorry to be the one to break the disappointing news to you, but unfortunately it is required.After having every one of his afflictions alleviated, he is now at peace and delighting in the company of his Lord and Savior. He has finally found rest.

On June 21, 1953, the same day that Greg was born, it just so happened that my third birthday fell on that same day as well. This was a complete coincidence. When it came to my birthday, having him in my life was the best present I could have asked for. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I could not have asked for anything that was more perfect than that. We wasted many years of our lives partaking in “kid things” and wreaking havoc while making our way through the residential areas of Kirkland and Seattle on bicycles and meandering around aimlessly on foot.

Both cities can be found in the state of Washington. It gives me a great deal of satisfaction to admit that he was and still is my brother and a trustworthy friend. Acknowledging this truth affords me a great deal of satisfaction. His wife Paula Solvang, his son Ryan Solvang, his daughter Julie Baltzell, his stepmother Edith Solvang, five grandchildren, and further relatives from his extended family are among those who have survived from his immediate family.
