James Harman Obituary, Death Cause – On May 6, 2023, James Clarence Harman, age 18, of Glen St. Mary, Florida, passed away suddenly at home due to an unforeseen illness. James was a senior at Baker County High School, where he received his secondary education. The 19th of May would have been the date of his graduation. It was a day that he had been looking forward to for quite some time. James was a gamer with a lot of enthusiasm.

He was exceptionally gifted in drawing and the creation of artwork, and he was a fan of anime. He enjoyed being outside and fishing, and he had a soft spot in his heart for any and all forms of life. Within his own family, he had a reputation for being well-mannered and respectful to others. It had only been 18 months since the passing of James’ twin brother, Shaun Allen Harman, when James passed away. James, the older twin, wanted to be the best big brother he could possible be to his younger sibling who had been diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of three weeks old.

As the boys were growing up, James served as his brother’s guide, shadow, and primary caregiver. He was the son of Rebecca Sue Smiley of Glen St. Mary, and he was born on July 25, 2004, in the city of Jacksonville. His mother and his two younger sisters, Bridgelyn Harman and Brenda Jackson, are the only members of his family to have survived his passing. In addition, he leaves behind his maternal grandmother, Terri Harrison, who lives in Homerville, Georgia; his paternal grandparents, Mary and Cecil Harman, who live in Macclenny, Florida; and additional family members, acquaintances, and classmates.
