Jamie Bemrose Missing – Jamie Bemrose, a man from Grimsby who had been reported missing, has been identified as the person whose body was discovered over the weekend in the Humber. This comes in the wake of the heartbreaking find that was made on Sunday morning close to the Grimsby Docks, which was located near the mouth of the estuary. After the body was discovered at approximately 11.30 in the morning, an operation to recover the body was led by the Coastguard and assisted by the Humber RNLI lifeboat.

According to the Humberside Police, Jamie’s family has been notified, despite the fact that the body has not yet been formally identified. Jamie, age 45, was reported missing on Monday, April 10; his last known whereabouts was in the Immingham Docks area at approximately 9 o’clock at night on Sunday, April 9. The preliminary investigations into his passing have been completed, and it does not appear that his death was suspicious in any way.

A spokeswoman for the Humberside Police said the following in a statement that was released on Tuesday evening: “Following the discovery of a man’s body in the Humber Estuary on Sunday, May 7, it is with deep sadness that we are now able to confirm this to be missing Grimsby man Jamie Bemrose.” Although the official identification of Jamie’s body has not yet taken place, his family has been informed, and we will continue to keep them in our thoughts at this terribly trying time. On Monday, April 10, we received word that Jamie had not been seen since the evening of Sunday, April 9th, at 9 o’clock when he was in the general vicinity of Immingham Docks.
