Jill Button Obituary, Death Cause – The life of Jill Button has ended. There was a statement on the website that read, “Please say a prayer for my beautiful friend Jill (McInnis) Button who passed away today after battling cancer for the last couple of years.” This is certainly heartbreaking news for her family, since she leaves behind two gorgeous children who, just like the rest of us, had a deep and abiding love for their mother.

Since Jill was a young child, I have known her along with her father Jack McInnis and her brother Johnny McInnis. Jill has always been a tremendous source of motivation for all of us. RIP Jill” Jill received her education at Purdue University, where she studied to become a kitchen designer and also made the acquaintance of Rick, her boyfriend of 37 years. In 1977, they made the move to Dallas, where they established a thriving life and brought up their two kids. Jill spent most of her time as a selfless volunteer assisting others, both at her church and across the Pearce High School community.

Her husband, Rick, their kids, Stacey and Shelby, her father, Len, and her brother, Phillip, will carry on her legacy after she has passed away. On July 19, at 11 o’clock in the morning, there will be a memorial service held in her honor at the First United Methodist Church in Dallas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to either the Jill Button Scholarship Fund at Pearce High School or the Mission Fund at First United Methodist Church in Dallas.
