Jimmy Dew Obituary, Death Cause – The life of Jimmy Dew has ended. It is with a heavy heart that we have to let you know that Jimmy Dew has passed away. Visitation will be held from 1-2 pm, and the funeral service will begin at 2 pm. Both services will be held at Northview Christian Church. RIP Jimmy. After completing his high school education at Norris, he moved to Detroit, Michigan, where he eventually met and wed the woman who would become the love of his life, Juanita Frost.
In the city of Detroit, where he worked as a contractor for a number of years, he was the original founder of the Re-Steel Contractors Association. After moving back to Tennessee, he initially settled in Norris but has called Halls home continuously since the year 2005. He had a deep love for his wife, his family, and all of his friends. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing, and he frequently visited his sons in West Knoxville. He had served in Korea with the United States Army during the years of 1950 and 1952. The year 1952 was also the year of his marriage to Juanita.
Parents Sam and Roxie Dew, sisters Unia Dew-Daugher and Ann (Roy) Stewart, brothers Randy (Linda) Dew, Donald Dew, and Clyde (Lorraine) Dew all passed away before him. Survived by his devoted wife of 71 years, Juanita Dew, sons Ron (Jill) Dew and Rob, both of West Knoxville, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
