John Easterbroo Obituary, Death Cause – On the day of his wedding to Jack L. Lewis, which took place on October 1, 1950, Jack L. Lewis served as his bride. The ceremony took place. They have recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a party that was hosted in their honor to recognize the occasion. In addition to his memberships in the American Legion Post 175 and the Masonic Lodge #623 F&AM, he was also a member of the West Washington United Methodist Church. After a career spanning four decades, John resigned from the United States Postal Service with the title of postal clerk from the Washington post office, where he had worked for the last several years. In addition to that, he held a job at the Meadows in one of its many guises. Both the basketball and football skills of the midgets in the 8th ward came under his direction and supervision. He was a lively participant in the activities of the Washington Senior Citizens, which included singing and dancing at their events. RIP.
