Kathleen Mack Obituary, Death Cause – On April 30, 2023, Kathleen Phyllis (Hansen) Mack, who had reached the age of 90, went to be with the Lord.She shared a 58-year marriage with her husband, Valgene Mack. 2009 was the year when Val passed away.Katy was the name that everyone called her. She obtained her diploma from Edmore High School in 1950, and then attended County Normal School to earn her teaching certificate the following year.

They also have four great-grandchildren: Sydney Plath, Ethan Metzger, Owen Metzger, and Benjamin Mack. Daniel and Michael Mack are Val and Katy’s sons. Daniel is married to Robin, and Michael Mack is married to Sharon.Katy had a deep love for both her family and her friends. She enjoyed fishing, reading, and going on adventures. She traveled all the way to Europe twice.

In 1969, she graduated from Montcalm Community College with a license as a licensed practical nurse. She attended Montcalm Community College and earned an Associate of General Studies degree in the year 1978. In addition to that, Katy had served as the Parish Nurse at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Edmore.Michelle (Victor) Plath, Emily (Ryan) Metzger, and David (Stephanie) Mack are Val and Katy’s grandkids.

On May 20th, 2023, a memorial ceremony will be place at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, which is located at 530 West Howard City-Edmore Road in Edmore, Michigan. The visitation with the family will begin at eleven in the morning, and the memorial ceremony will begin at twelve in the afternoon.

Katy took great pleasure in preparing delicious meals for her loved ones. She never failed to provide an additional plate to anyone who would be celebrating a holiday by themselves.Because of the compassionate care that Katy received from the employees at Lakeview Terrace Assisted Living and Interim Hospice, the family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to those individuals.
