She was a valued daughter, a beloved wife, a doting mother to three lovely daughters, a cherished sister, an extraordinary aunt, a priceless niece, an outstanding cousin, and a treasured friend to everyone. Kelli was deeply committed to the idea that her religious practice and her artistic expression might simultaneously bring glory to God.

Her creative talent and artistic abilities helped her to communicate her religion and bring the scripture to life in a way that was straightforward and genuine. In addition to her many qualities and creative talents, she had a deep love for her home, her family, and music, which made her an inspiration to everyone who met her. Kelli had the capacity to make everyone feel as though they were the most important person in the room by giving of herself in caring and serving with her entire heart.

She did this by giving of herself in caring for others and by serving with her whole heart. She never failed to have the appropriate words to say in any circumstance, inspiring others to put their faith in the Lord and walk by faith rather than by sight. To paraphrase what Kel has said, “Be the light in someone else’s life.” According to Matthew 5:14, “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Kelli, you can count on us to spread that light to everyone we come in contact with! We are really grateful that you have been a part of our lives for the past 48 years. You had a profound and positive effect on the course of so many people’s lives. We will remember you fondly, but we are confident that you are now celebrating in paradise with all of our other loved ones who have passed on before us. Rest in peace.
