LaTusha Trusty Obituary, Death Cause – The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office has suffered a loss of immeasurable proportions with the passing away of Deputy LaTusha Trusty today. She had worked for the organization for a considerable amount of time. The death of Deputy Trusty was brought on by a sudden medical situation that occurred at his place of employment. This unexpected event took place at the workplace. When LaTusha first started working for RPSO, she was assigned to work as a Communications Officer on B Shift in the Main Office.

This was the role that she was given. Her responsibilities were to be carried out in the Main Office. Her many years of experience in Texas made her stand out, and she never stopped trying to improve herself and share what she had learned with those who were close to her. LaTusha has recently been given a promotion, and she is now working as the Administrative Assistant to the Major and Captain of the Uniform/Patrol Division. A relatively recent promotion was awarded to this individual.

The passing of LaTusha has led all of us to be in a state of immense disbelief and sadness, as stated by Sheriff Mark Wood’s comments. She never failed to fulfill her obligations to the very best of her abilities, and she did so while maintaining an upbeat mood and a kind heart.
