Liliana Henry Obituary, Death Cause – According to the Virgin Islands Police Department, Liliana Henry, who was 38 years old, was a pedestrian who was killed in an accident on April 22 in St. Thomas. The incident occurred on April 22. The information that was provided by V.I. Police spokesman Glen Dratte in answer to queries from The Daily News indicates that the incident took place at 5:57 a.m. when officers responded to a report that a car struck a person on Weymouth Rhymer Highway, in the general area of Walgreens. Dratte stated that the information was provided in response to questions from The Daily News.
The law enforcement authorities found a white Toyota that had stopped in the westbound lane when they arrived at the scene. According to the complaint filed by the police, the victim, whose name was ultimately determined to be Henry, was unresponsive and bleeding from the head at the time of the incident. Henry was transported to Schneider Hospital, but according to the authorities, she was pronounced dead from internal hemorrhage shortly after arriving there.
As soon as they arrived on the scene, firefighters quickly began CPR and other efforts to save the victim’s life. Emergency medical services professionals also responded to assist. Henry was hit by a vehicle, however the driver of the vehicle has not been detained and is not suspected of having committed any wrongdoing in connection with the incident. The driver reported to the authorities that he was driving west at Walgreens when “the lady came out of nowhere.” The driver was the one who shared this information with us.
