Linda Hartsfield Obituary, Death Cause – Linda Hartsfield, who resided in Talladega, Alabama, passed away quietly in the presence of her loved ones on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the age of 80. She passed away in the safety and comfort of her own house, which she had owned for many years. The gathering that will be held to celebrate her life will take place at a later day, later hour, and in a different location than what was initially planned.

Mrs. Hartsfield has spent her whole life in Talladega, where she was born and raised after moving there as an infant. She has never lived anywhere else. She has never lived in any other place and cannot remember doing so. Her passing occurred some time after the passing of her husband, George Hartsfield, who had passed away before she did. Her passing occurred prior to that of her husband, who had already passed away before she did.

Mrs. Hartsfield is survived by her children Melissa Jaffe (and her husband Bobby), April Stringfellow (and her husband Tony Rutledge), and Jackson Hartsfield (and their spouse Gleyson DaCosta); her sister Shanon Davis (and her husband Don); 6 grandsons, and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister’s husband Don, as well as by 6 grandsons and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her sister’s husband, Don, as well as her six grandkids and four great-grandchildren.

She was the matriarch of a large family. Everyone will experience loss in their own special way in response to her demise. Her family and friends have requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in her honor to a charitable organization of your choosing.
