Lisa Hogan Obituary, Death Cause – The members and staff of Killucan Ladies are in mourning after learning of Lisa Donoghue Hogan’s loss. During this extremely trying time, we would like to offer our most sincere condolences to all of Lisa’s family and friends, as well as to the broader Raharney Camogie Family. As we think fondly of you, we want your family to know that our thoughts are with them. Chesapeake, Virginia resident Lisa Hogan Minnix, age 48, lost her valiant fight against cancer on Thursday, April 2, 2015, and died away. She was the daughter of Patti and Paul Hogan and was reared in Chesapeake, although having been born in Norfolk. Over the course of nearly 14 years, Lisa worked for the Chesapeake Public Schools as a school bus driver. Her favorite things to do in her leisure time were to go fishing, eat at restaurants, go shopping, pull pranks on the people she cared about, and tend to her garden.

In addition to her parents, Lisa is survived by her husband, Robert Minnix; a son, Dale Layton Collins; a sister, Dana Hogan (James Hunt); an uncle, David Hogan (Harriet); an aunt, Rosemary Hackworth; a nephew, Ben Hogan Hunt; a great aunt and uncle, Marjorie and Alton Wade; numerous cousins; and a feline companion, Macy. Lisa is also survived by her parents. Her maternal grandparents, Rosalie and Alfred Palmer, Jr., as well as her paternal grandparents, Lesta and James R. Hogan, Sr., as well as her maternal aunt, Joan Palmer Old, all passed away before she was born.
