Our beloved Willie Mack Marcus, Sr. left this earth peacefully on February 10, 2017, and is now at rest with his Heavenly Father. May he rest in eternal happiness. They will be together for all of eternity. For some time, he had been coping with the effects of his disease. His six siblings—George Marcus, Jr., Horace Marcus, Bob Marcus, Minnie Marcus, and Linda Marcus—as well as three sisters-in-law—Helen Huie, Mildred Chaplin, and Annie Lee Marcus—and a brother-in-law—Eddie Lockett—preceded him in death.

Robert Marcus was the last of his siblings to pass away. Additionally, a brother-in-law of his had passed away before him. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings: George Marcus, Jr., Horace Marcus, Bob Marcus, Minnie Marcus, Linda Marcus, and Robert Marcus.
