Mason C. Roell Obituary, Death Cause – Early on Saturday morning in Preble County, Ohio, there was a collision between a single car and a train that resulted in the death of the driver of the car. The collision occurred at a head-on angle. At the hospital, it was determined that the man had passed away. Mason C. Roell, a guy aged 19, was conclusively identified as the victim by the Dayton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Mason C. Roell was a witness to the incident. Roell had been a lifelong inhabitant of Camden.
According to a press statement that was made by the patrol, reports of an accident on Barnetts Mill Road in Somers Twp involving a single car were received at approximately 3:29 in the morning. The incident was said to have occurred in Somers Twp. After traveling through an intersection that featured a level railway crossing, Roell was struck by a train that was operated by Norfolk Southern, according to the Oregon State Highway Patrol. Roell was driving a 2006 GMC Sierra at the time of the collision.
As a direct consequence of the injuries he incurred in the collision, Roell was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident. The Camden Somers Fire Department, the Gasper Somers Fire Department, and the Camden Police Department all contributed additional help at the incident. The inquiry into what led up to the collision is still ongoing at this point.
