Neilie MacLean Obituary, Death Cause – We must break the news to you, dear friends, that Neilie MacLean has passed away. It is with a heavy heart that I do so. An announcement of the death of Neilie John (Barney) MacLean was published on social media with the following message: “It is with great sadness that Neilie John (Barney) MacLean, who passed away yesterday but peacefully with his family around him.”

After working at Barratlantic for almost 25 years, Neilie John eventually made the decision to retire at the age of 67, and his coworkers and the town as a whole expressed their deep sorrow over his departure. John had been employed there for more than 25 years at that point in time. We had the pleasure of working with Neilie John, who had to be one of the nicest and hardest working people that one could ever hope to meet in their lifetime.

We had the pleasure of working with Neilie John. Because of his razor-sharp humor, we frequently found ourselves giggling at his remarks or actions, which was a common occurrence.
Neilie John, you will be greatly missed by a lot of people; we hope that you are able to enjoy the peace and quiet that you have so justly earned. During this difficult time, we would like to extend our most heartfelt condolences to Margaret and the rest of the family and let them know how sorry we are for the loss that they have suffered.
