Paul Wells Obituary Washington D.C., Paul Wells Has Died
- by Sophia Mia
Paul Wells Obituary, Death Cause – We only recently found out that Paul Wells, a buddy of mine whom I first met while attending American University, passed away over the weekend. I’m at a complete loss for words. He had the most lovely spirit of anyone I have ever met. Consistently helpful, loving, and caring toward others. At this time, I pray for all of his friends and family members. May he finally find rest in heaven. He received his education at Maine South High School. He was the son of Dorothy Wells (née Dubiel), who passed away, and Chester Wells (Wiszowaty), who also passed away.
They were inseparable companions for more than 36 years prior to Paul’s marriage to Dana Nelius (Wauconda) in June 1997. Their relationship lasted an extremely long time. They raised two children together: Geneva, now 23 years old, and Greigh (Barrington), now 20 years old. There was nothing more than Paul enjoyed talking about (okay, bragging about) than his children and grandchildren. He was a remarkable brother to Joan Wells, who has since passed away; David Wells, who lives in Crystal Falls, Michigan; Elizabeth Wells, who lives in Des Plaines, Illinois; Ann Wells, who lives in Racine, Wisconsin; and Michelle (Wells) Cross, who lives in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Uncle Steven is loved and respected by his five nieces and nephews, Callia, Zander, Elliana, and Cory. In the center of a Chicago neighborhood, Paul’s home sat on six acres of land and featured a pond. He referred to it as his “sanctuary.” There, he got to spend time with his family, go fishing, and eat some of his favorite foods. Paul was a fantastic chef who rarely stuck to a recipe and was often throwing get-togethers for his friends, family, and coworkers, both scheduled and unplanned. In addition to that, he had a passion for the great outdoors, camping, reading, and fine wine.
