Rainer Dreisbach Obituary, Death, Funeral And Visitation
- by James Lucas
Rainer Dreisbach Obituary, Death Cause – It has come to our attention with deep regret that Rainer Dreisbach, a member of the SONOR Germany team, has passed away. The members of the Sutherland Trading team would like to express their deepest sympathies to Rainer’s family as well as his work colleagues and say, “Rainer, rest in peace.” Thank you so much, and good luck, Rainer! On April 22, 2023, our longtime, highly respected, and beloved former colleague Rainer Dreisbach passed away.
Rainer led almost all of the factory visits that took place over these years, and as a result, he is widely known and greatly appreciated by all of the SONOR friends all over the world. Rainer then took over the commercial administration and corporate communications from 2015 onward. He was also the one who personally chronicled a significant portion of our company’s history and served as an experienced advice to anyone who was interested in instruments or site history.
This news has left us in a state of profound grief. 1986 was the year that Rainer began his apprenticeship at SONOR. Beginning in 1989, he worked in the department of work preparation, and beginning in 2001, he took on the role of production manager. During his time in these roles, he was significantly involved in many significant milestones in SONOR’s history, such as the creation of the Designer Series, the Giant Step Pedals, and the SQ2 Drumsystem series.
Due to an unexpected and severe sickness, Rainer was forced to leave SONOR as early as January 2019, and he did not return. We want to express our gratitude to Rainer for all of the time and effort he put into SONOR, and we promise to always honor his memory. Good bye!
