Rebecca Gordon Obituary, Death Cause – The untimely passing of Rebecca Kracke Gordon, age 50, occurred on May 7th, 2023. She graduated from Mountain Brook High School, where she served as president of the Alpha Delta Psi chapter during her time there. Following her graduation from high school, she enrolled at the University of Alabama. She was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and earned a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management while she was a student at the university.

and Wales University bestowed upon her the degree of summa cum laude in the field of Culinary Arts. They tied the knot on May 20, 2000. Henry Marrow Gordon was her groom. They had a lot of fun while they were all together, including with their pets. In the beginning of her career, Rebecca was employed as a pastry chef. She worked for the Cooking School and later became the director of the test kitchen for a major newspaper, where she also published two popular cookbooks.

In addition, Rebecca was featured on not one but two major networks. She made frequent appearances on the regional television station, where she discussed culinary ideas and tailgate advice. Buttermilk Lipstick was Rebecca’s website, and it was written in a person-to-person format and provided advice on topics such as cooking, fashion, and hosting parties. The Provisions by Rebecca Gordon’s Buttermilk Lipstick Bake Shop and Larder was recently opened at her house.

Rebecca’s parents Bob and Anne Kracke, her sister-in-law Meg Gordon Wilson (Stu), and her brother-in-law Stewart Hobgood Gordon are among the people who are left behind after her passing. Rebecca is also survived by her devoted husband Marrow Gordon and their yellow dog, Mr. Furley. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her three siblings: Shannon Kracke Stevens (and her husband John), Robert Russell Kracke Jr. (and his wife Crystal), and Susan Kracke Hefelfinger (and her spouse Ashley). Additionally, Rebecca had a large number of nieces and nephews.
