Robert and his wife Sandra were responsible for the production of the world-famous Brookbora Jerseys at their farm in Tennyson, which is located in northern Victoria. Robert leaves a long impact on the jersey breed both within Australia and around the globe and on the wider Australian dairy industry.
On Thursday, our incredibly resilient Husband, Dad, and Poppy took his last breath and went to be with the Lord. He battled so bravely right up to the very end, and although though we are completely devastated by his passing, we are at peace with the knowledge that the suffering is finally done. His family was the most important thing in his life, and we have no doubt that he will be looking down on us as we strive to make him proud and carry on his legacy.
He is a frequent top herd on genetic merit, champion breeder and exhibitor at major shows across Australia’s, and a breeder of many elite bulls in AI. In addition, Robert is a breeder of many elite bulls in artificial insemination. Our deepest sympathies go out to Sandra, Daniel, Michelle, and the rest of the family. “We promise to keep a place for you in our hearts because even though you’re gone, you’re never truly gone.”
