Sarah Goode Missing – After the young woman, age 21, had recently ended her relationship with the man she had been dating for the past two years, her sister-in-law’s brother, Nick Giannetto, had offered to babysit the woman’s young daughter, Jocelyn. Giannetto, who ran his own flooring business and was very fastidious about finishes, stated that he agreed to assist Goode paint her nails immediately before she left his house, which was a custom the two of them had done together for years. Goode and Giannetto had been doing this activity for years.

But the young woman, who was 21 at the time, would never come home again. Her large family in Mastick, New York, spent days searching for her, running to their cars every time they heard police sirens, and even playing the part of amateur detectives as they tracked down anyone who may have seen Goode the night she disappeared. Goode, who was the ninth and final child of a family of ten, always had plenty of family members watching out for her.
Goode became a mother at the age of 17, when she gave birth to her daughter Jocelyn; yet, she did not let this new role in her life to distract her from pursuing the objectives she had set for herself. She first earned her high school diploma, then her college degree, and then landed a career in the medical field after receiving support from her enormous family.
