Steven Fisher Obituary, Death Cause – The life of Steven Fisher has come to an end. He met the woman who would become his wife, Kathy, while he was a student at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. After receiving his undergraduate degree in 1967, he continued his education by enrolling in the PhD program at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. Before beginning a career as a Special Agent with the FBI, Steven worked as a teacher in Findlay, Ohio, which is located in the state of Ohio.

He served in the cities of Atlanta, Georgia, Ithaca, New York, and both Detroit and Ann Arbor, Michigan. In addition, he served in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Steven worked as a teacher at a number of different state and local police academies in the states of New York, Vermont, and Michigan. His primary investigative duties centered on overseas counterintelligence and counterespionage operations. After working for the same company for 29 years, he and his wife decided to retire and then joined Cadence International, a Christian mission organization that serves the United States military all over the world.

During their time in Vicenza, Italy, Steven and Kathy served as the directors of a hospitality home that provided service members and their families with the opportunity to take part in Christian family activities. After completing their tour of duty in Italy, they went on to complete portion of their service in Germany, Spain, and Japan respectively. His wife of 54 years, Kathy, as well as his sons Jay and Andrew (Dani), as well as his five grandchildren, Madison, Shayden, Liam, Reid, and Mason, will remember him with great affection. On Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 11 a.m., a memorial service will be place at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), which is located at 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. The Reverend Kevin Meek will preside over the ceremony. Prior to the service, beginning at one, relatives and friends are welcome to visit with the family.
