Tom Haag Obituary, Death Cause – Tom Haag came into the world on August 3, 1947 in Sebewaing. He was welcomed into the world by his parents, Ernest and Estella (Law) Haag. Tom Law, Tom’s maternal grandpa, inspired the naming of this child. After receiving his diploma from Sebewaing High School, he enlisted in the armed forces of the United States. At the time, he was serving in Sebewaing, where his base was located.
Ida Fibranz was the woman who became his wife on the day that he tied the knot on November 19, 1968. He was serving in the military at the time and was stationed in Stuggart, Germany. He gave his notice at General Motors and left the firm altogether after doing so, resigning from his employment there. Tom was a very creative person who used to spend his spare time developing new things, working with wood, fiddling with bike motors, and refurbishing houses.
He was also quite talented. All of these activities were enjoyable for him to do. Tom and Ida had a wonderful time traveling all over the world together. They went to all 50 of the United States, as well as Mexico, Canada, and Europe. Tom is survived by his wife, Ida; children: James Haag and Scott (Carol) Haag; grandchildren: Brittany (Shane Heinitz) Vincent, MaKenna Haag, Abigail Haag and Adam Haag; and great granddaughter, Jade Heinitz; siblings:
Ernest Haag, Fred (Maude) Haag, Dennis Haag, John (Janet) Haag, Billy (Betty) Haag and Nancy (Ken) Anderson; and many nieces and nephews. Before Tom’s departure, his sisters Donna (Sam) Riddlebaucher, Jeannette (Jack) Bursick, and Jean (Don) Ahler, as well as his sisters-in-law Florence and Dana Haag, all passed away. Also predeceasing Tom were his sisters-in-law Florence and Dana Haag. In-laws of Tom’s family passed away before he did as well.
Tom made it abundantly apparent that he desired for his body to be cremated after he died away, which was his stated wish. In the not too distant future, preparations will be made to have a funeral or memorial service for the deceased person.
